Cheryl Patterson
Cheryl is a Registered Nurse with BSN, MSN, MBA, and PhD. She has worked in clinical areas, management roles, academic research, and university teaching. She has clinical expertise in orthopaedics, pain management, and rehab. She also has Multiple Sclerosis—diagnosed 37 years ago, alongside Psoriasis since age 12 (decades before there were any biological disease-modifying drugs!)
In her 48 years as a nurse, she has given direct nursing care or has been involved in the care of patients with MS, SLE (Lupus), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, Ankylosing Spondylosis, Hemophilia, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Type I Diabetes, Crohn’s Disease, Dermatomyositis, Myasthenia Gravis, and many other autoimmune diseases. Her current passion and mission is being a Health & Wellness, Life & Career Coach—using her skills, training, and vast experience to help people with autoimmune diseases achieve their highest level of wellness (physical, mental, emotional, vocational, relational, spiritual). She offers 1:1 or group coaching, with programs of different lengths (weeks, months).
