I am going to show you how to make energy bites the easy way. In my search for healthier treats that still support my autoimmune-friendly eating, I have created a recipe for energy bites that will be on repeat in your kitchen. They really taste like no-bake cookies or this No Bake Cookie Oatmeal, if I am honest, so you can’t go wrong there!

How to Make Energy Bites

Are you good at meal prepping? I am not the best at it, but these energy bites are easy enough to add to your meal prep list without even blinking an eye. With just a few ingredients that you likely already have on hand, it’s a no-brainer.

Best Eaten Cold!

The best way to enjoy these is straight from the freezer in my opinion, but the fridge is also a great place to store them.

Having an autoimmune disease doesn’t have to mean skipping treats or only settling for boring food. With this recipe for energy bites, you won’t feel boring or deprived. How to Make Energy Bites

Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups gluten free oats
  • 2 cups sunflower butter or any nut butter of choice
  • 1 cup agave or honey or maple syrup will work
  • 9 ounces Lily's dark chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp ground golden flaxseed

Instructions
 

  • Mix Sunflower Butter and Agave.
  • In a large bowl, combine oats, chocolate chips, and flaxseed.
  • Pour sunflower butter mixture into the oat mixture and mix well. Hands work perfectly here!
  • Roll into ping-pong sized balls.
  • Store in the fridge or freezer! Enjoy

Notes

Will keep for up to 5 days in the fridge, or months in the freezer. If they last that long.
